He was predeceased by : his wife Evelyn; and his grandson Cory Bertrand. He is survived by : his brother Jerry of Louisville, KY; his children, Karen McKinney (Patrick) of Vero Beach, FL, Susan Bertrand (Marc) of Winchester, TN, Jeffrey Gambill of Ft Myers, FL and Gary Gambill (Lara) of Jacksonville, FL.; his grandchildren, Ryan Perry, Blayne, Jeremy, Jessica Bertrand, Ashton, Megan and Jayden Gambill; and his great grandchildren, Carson and Hudson Perry.
