With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edgar A. Johnston (Jacksonville, Florida), born in Baltimore, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his sons, J. B. and Robert Warrington; his grandson Robert Warrington Jr.; his brother Cleburn Jr.; and his sister-in-law Charlotte.
He is survived by: his children, David (Barbara), Mark and Beth Jacquot; his grandchildren, Kristen Johnston Jones, Risa Olcott and Jeremy Warrington; his great grandchildren, Hunter Lukner, Madison Lukner, Blaze Olcott and Beck Olcott; and his sibling's children, Melissa Jones and Cleburn Johnston III (Coy).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the East Pointe Church (270 Kernan Blvd N, Jacksonville, FL 32225).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice & Palliative Care McGraw Center for Caring.
