He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Smoak and Edna Smoak; and his wife Mary. He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Linda Lefever (Jim) and Lenora Hagan. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home (850 St Johns Bluff Rd N, Jacksonville, FL 32225). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel Hills Memory Gardens (850 St Johns Bluff Rd N, Jacksonville, FL 32225).
