He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Dukes and Louise Dukes; and his brothers, Clifton Dukes (Red) and Charles Dukes. He is survived by: his son Edward Wayne Dukes, Jr. (Cindy); his grandsons, Edward Wayne Dukes, III and Dillon Wayne Dukes; and his siblings, James Dukes (Marlene), Annabelle Willis, Shirley Miller, Ruthalee Ogle and Carolyn Jacobs. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
