She was predeceased by: her husband Ghale C. Thomas, Sr.; her parents, Fred Smithoover and Clarissa Smithoover; and her siblings, Betty, Walter, Cleo and James.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia "Patti" Ferguson of Palm Harbor, Ghale Jr. "Butch" Thomas of Dade City, Robert "Bob" Thomas of Houston, TX, James "Jim" Thomas of Brooksville, Cynthia "Cindy" Radike of Spring Hill, Dixie Thomas of Sweden and Kelly Thomas (Steven Hutra) of Jacksonville; her grandchildren, Brent, Raegan, Rachel, Jacob, Michael, Max and Zoe; and her great grandchildren, Dawson, Sienna, Aubree, Aliza, Jax, Randy, River, Lila, Eliana and Rio.
