Ellen leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Ellen’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wheaton Thompson and June Wolford Thompson; her brother Larry W. Thompson; and her son David Bullard. She is survived by: her husband Fred Whitbread; her children, Kevin (Kelly), Amy (Grant) and Fred (Mandy); and her brother Randolph Thompson (Susan). She is also survived by grandchildren and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Barnabas Anglican Church (2140 St Johns Bluff Rd S, Jacksonville, FL 32246).
