She was predeceased by: her husband Charlie Roberts; her parents, Carl McDonald Smith and Lena Estell Newsom Smith; her son Kenneth Roberts; her grandson Steve Roberts; and her siblings, Wilbur Carl Smith, Johnny Francis Smith, Marril Weeks Smith, Sammie Maniuse Smith and Mary Nell Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Roberts (Barbara), June Carter (Kenny) and Jimmy "J. D." Roberts (Tammy); her daughter-in-law Linda Roberts; and her sister Glenda Smith. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peeples Family Funeral Home (14165 N Main St, Jacksonville, FL 32218). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peeples (14165 N Main St, Jacksonville, FL 32218).
