With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eugene Sigmund (Jacksonville, Florida), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 11, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Eugene may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eugene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He is survived by: his son Jason; his brother Herbert Lee; and his grandchildren, Jason Jr., Dwight, Seth and Kaylee Jane.
