He is survived by: his father Felipe Pia; his wife Zenaida of Jacksonville, Florida; his children, Felipe III (Patty) of Jacksonville, Ed (Melissa) of Lexington, Suzy (John) of Stokesdale and Carol (Tim) of Huntersville; his grandchildren, Andrew, Olivia, Eric, Alex, Christine, Sarah, Emily and Claire; and his siblings, Renato, Teresita and Manuel Pia.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hardage - Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home (4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (9800 Baymeadows Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32256). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hardage - Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home (4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207). A reception will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 1:15 PM to 2:15 PM at the Greenlawn Chapel (4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207).
