It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Edward Palmer III in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, George Edward is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that George Edward's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward Palmer Jr. and Virginia May (Isenberg); his wife Nancy Lee (Schamel); and his brother John Frederick Palmer. He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia Lee Cummings (Frank Cummings); his grandsons, Kyle Edward Sorensen and Christopher Neal Sorensen; and his great grandchildren, James Christopher Sorensen and Jack Carter Sorensen.
