George Nathaniel Hatcher Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of George Nathaniel Hatcher (Jacksonville, Florida) is shared. George, born on October 10, 1943, passed away on August 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hamilton Hatcher and Melverene "Pat" Stanaland; his stepfather Tommy Eminizer; and his sister Mavis Eminizer Raker. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hatcher; his children, Phillip Morris, Nick Hatcher, Mel Hatcher (Sandy) and Shelby Lynn Hatcher; and his sister Joann Hatcher Moran. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was a Life Sponsor of The Knights Templar Eye Foundation, and a Keel Club Lieutenant with The United Way of Northeast Florida.
