She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Amos Alexander and Ola Mae Burchette Alexander; her siblings, Edason James (Jay), Talmage, Amos, Jr., Phillip Eugene Alexander, Carolyn Marie Alexander and Rosalee Leggett; and her grandson Eric Brandon Wallace.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Byrd (Tina) and Tammy Wallace (Claude); her grandchildren, Aaron, Christopher Wallace, Megan and William Byrd; her sister Jenny Jolly (Doug); and her niece Wanda Nichols (Donald). She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
