It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda V. DuPont (Jacksonville, Florida), who passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harman A. Leviner and Gertrude F. Leviner; her husband Marice DuPont; her siblings, Vivian LeViner, Myra L. Cooper, Vesta M. Beasley and Gene A. LeViner; her sons, Douglas Seldon and Michael Shepard; and her nephew Andrew Beasley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Read (Clyde) and Kathy Shepard; her great grandchild Edwin Read; and her sibling's children, Steve Cooper (Flo), Dr. Janis S. Cooper of Vicksburg, MS, John B. Beasley, Michelle Kier (Rene) and Patricia Boyda (Brian) of Jacksonville.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Dunns Creek Baptist Church (1425 Starratt Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Riverside Memorial Park (7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205).
