He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn David Overby and Mary Overby Yon; and his brothers, Terrance "Rickey" Overby and John Overby. He is survived by: his children, Andrea Overby, David Allen Overby (Jacklyn) and Ashley Ossi (Ben); and his sisters, Glenda Overby Allen and Patricia Yon. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
