He was predeceased by: his parents, Hines Vickes Silver and Anna Lee Owens Silver; and his siblings, William R. Silver and Glenda L. Buttrom. He is survived by: his wife Earlene Silver; his children, Christophe Silver (Michelle) of Norfolk, UK, Christelle Silver and Michael Silver (Michelle) of Jacksonville, FL.; his stepson Lawrence R. Grier of Jacksonville, FL; and his sister Arlene Cameron of Byron. He is also survived by grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
