She was predeceased by: her parents, Evander Elmore Jones and Alva Lee Adams Jones; her husband Edward T. Womble Jr.; her siblings, Elmore Hatcher (Neil), Maureen McElveen (Stanley), Sarah Jowers (Robert) and James Jones (Sarah Nell); and her granddaughter Jessica Womble Taft.
She is survived by: her stepson Edward T. Womble III (Myrtice); and her grandson Edward T. Womble IV (Dina). She is also survived by nieces, nephew, and great-grandchildren.
