We bid farewell to Helen Black (Jacksonville, Florida), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 17, 2025 at the age of 85. Helen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Winston Black; her parents, Woodrow "Woody" Harris and Hazel Harris; and her siblings, Wayne Harris and Wanda Newman.
She is survived by: her sister Marsha (Larry); her brother-in-law Bobby; her children, Janine, Renaye and Missy (Chris); her grandchildren, Mitch (Rachael), Dustin (Monica), PJ, Courtney, Colby (Juliana), Cristyn (Zac) and Caitlyn (Kyle); and her great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Joseph, Tristan, Gavin, Juliette of Kaleb, CJ, Koa, Ivy, Cecelia, Blakely, Abigail, Colton, Cori and Cove.
A joint memorial service for both Winston and Faye will be held at a later date, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
