She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrad Acosta and Clydie Acosta; her spouse Gene L. Cheesman Sr.; her sister Greta Deborah Acosta Brown; and her sister-in-law Sandy Acosta (Conrad Acosta).
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Weathington (Randy) and Gene Cheesman (Kenya); her stepgrandson Gaylin Dewberry; and her siblings, Tommy Acosta (Elaine), Gary Acosta (Vicky), Conrad Acosta and Gail Lennon. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
