She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tucker Ames and Ellen Speers Ames of South Nyack; and her brother Michael Lincoln Ames. She is survived by: her husband Charles F. Krause; her children, Robert J. Faulkner (Kristie) and Jennifer K. Reid (Richard); and her stepsons, Kent C. Krause (Valerie) and Paul E. Krause (Anne). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
