He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Owens and Audrey LeMay Owens; and his brother William Thomas Owens, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Brook Conger Owens; and his children, John E. Owens (JR), Julie Elliott and Brook Medici.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Our Saviour (12236 Mandarin Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32223).
