She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Harris Edens and Loma Williams Edens; her husband Emory Hicks; and her son Robert "Bobby" Hicks. She is survived by: her sons, Wayne Hicks (Judy) and Mike Hicks (Garnetta); her daughter-in-law Carolyn Hicks; and her grandchildren, Lisa Sloan (Neil), Bobby Hicks, Jr. (Sarah), Wes Hicks (Brandi), Rachel Hennegar, Barrett Crews (Susan) and Michael Hicks (Kyrsten). She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Riverside Memorial Park (7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32210).
