It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Carol Mercer of Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on June 19, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave Elswick and Vesta Elswick; her siblings, Lillian (Pie), Buddy, Bobby, Chab, Sissy, Hubert, Edward, Davis and Victor; her spouse Glendale Mercer; her children, Christopher Mercer and Brittany Mercer Screws; and her grandchildren, Izzy, Paizley and Zadie.

She is survived by: her son-in-law Derek Screws; and her brothers, Daniel Elswick and Jimmy Elswick.

The family respectfully asked that no flowers be sent.
