With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Julia Ann McKim (Jacksonville, Florida), born in Dade City, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 24, 2025 at the age of 49. As Julia departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Julia may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Julia leaves behind.
She is survived by: her parents, Steve Solis and Lynn Miner Solis; her husband Shawn McKim of St. Johns County, FL; her children, Lauren Hatcher (Tyler) of Virginia Beach, VA and Jaxon McKim of St. Johns County, FL; her sister Chrissy Contreras (Sergio) of Dade City, FL; her grandchildren, Maddux Hatcher and Ameila Hatcher; and her aunt Theresa Miner (Mike). She is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Southpoint Community Church (7556 Salisbury Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32256).
