She was predeceased by: her husbands, Harroll Shuford and Larry Bloom; her parents, Frank Cook and Thelma Cook; and her son-in-law Eddie Rivera.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Hicks (Jim) of Augusta, Georgia, Jennifer Cole (Jessie) of Jacksonville and Amanda Rivera of Jacksonville, Florida.; her grandchildren, Miguel Rivera (Allison), Emmanuel Rivera, Christopher Hicks and Caitlin Hicks; and her brothers, Arthur Cook and Frank "Bus" Cook.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Woods Lutheran Church (7860 Southside Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32256).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Shepherd of the Woods Lutheran Church in Kathy's honor.
