It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay Norton Bailey of Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on December 15, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister Marilyn Elder; and her parents, George Norton and Melba Norton. She is survived by: her husband Jim Bailey; her daughter Allison Bailey Weaver (Andrew); her grandchildren, Lila and Drew; her stepchildren, Jimmy Bailey (Vicky) and Lori Hudgens (John); her stepgrandchildren, Patrick, Caitlyn, Christian, Lindsey, Abbey and Wesley; her friend John Cannon; her niece Patti Wright; and her nephews, Jimmy Parrish and Brad Parrish. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to Deermeadows Baptist Church, 9780 Baymeadows Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32256.
