He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Larry "Chip" Monts Jr., Michael Cary Monts (Tanya) and Jennifer Hickman (Walter); and his grandchildren, Erin Harrison Swindler (Wyatt), Chandler Monts, Cody Monts, Dawson Monts and Lauren Monts.
In lieu of flowers or condolence cards, Dad requested that donations be made in his honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
