It is with sadness that the passing of Laura Virginia Cox Owens in Jacksonville, Florida is shared. Laura, born on February 20, 1929, passed away on August 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Cox and Andrew Cox; her husband Aubrey Hubert Owens; and her sister Dorothy Cox Ashmore. She is survived by: her children, Patrice Hall, Kendra Nowlin (Bill) and Keith Owens (Ann); her grandchildren, Devyn (Josh), Radyn Hall, Jordyn Jackson (Josiah), Andrew, Daniel (Sheila), Keely Nowlin and Aubrey Owens; her great grandchildren, Reid, Wayde, Crew, Evelyn, Ashton, Emersyn, Charli, Will, Wesley and Parker; and her sister Jean Rhoden. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

She was a loving, dedicated and tireless caregiver to Aubrey during his final years as he suffered with rheumatoid arthritis and Alzheimer's disease.
