Though Leon may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Leon leaves behind.

He is survived by: his wife Marie Françoise Bélizaire Val; and his daughters, Johanne Bélizaire-François (Didier François Jr) and Valerie Bélizaire Warrell (Gregory Ralph Warrell).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home (850 St Johns Bluff Rd N, Jacksonville, FL 32225). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:15 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church (6320 Bennett Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32216). A repast will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Parish (6320 Bennett Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32216).
