It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linda Joyce Grantz in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Thompson and Verma Thompson; and her brother Larry Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Alvin Grantz; her children, Todd Grantz (Andrea) of Deland, FL and Jennifer Pearce (Jeff) of Jacksonville, FL; her sister Phyllis Ames (Pat) of Gonzales, LA; her grandchildren, J. P. Pearce (Lauren) of Jacksonville, FL, Jonathan Pearce (Kendal) of Jacksonville, FL and Julia Godwin (Tate) of Atlanta, GA.; and her great grandchildren, Olivia Pearce and Everett Godwin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home (850 St Johns Bluff Rd N, Jacksonville, FL 32225). A committal service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery (4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218).
