She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Ray Smith; her grandson Nicholas Cochran; and her siblings, Loretto Eugenia Phelps and Haskel K. Burnsed. She is survived by: her son Edward Smith; her daughter-in-law Unchin Smith; her daughter Debbie Cochran; her granddaughter Jeanifer Schauerte; and her sisters, Betty Waters Hall and Mary Margaret Hall. She is also survived by three great granddaughters.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home (7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Riverside Memorial Park (7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205).
