With sadness, we share the passing of Maryann Burke in Jacksonville, Florida. Maryann, born on October 18, 1949, passed away on June 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Maryann for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Ohlen (Anthes) and William Von Ohlen; her son Mark Burke; her husband William Burke; her son William Burke; her granddaughters, Taylor and Ella Burke; and her siblings, William Von Ohlen (Patty), Nancy Goy, Rita Johnson (Al) and Eileen Zabel (Ed). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the United States Naval Academy in support of current and future generations of midshipmen, a cause that was meaningful to Maryann and her family. Please leave a note in the comments indicating "Donation made in memory of Maryann Burke".
