He is survived by: his son Matthew James "MJ" Balak; and his siblings, Rebecca "Balak" McNally, Michael Balak, Jeffery Balak, Brian Balak and William Balak. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (2300 S 78th St, Omaha, NE 68124).
