We announce the death of Melba Wright (Jacksonville, Florida), who passed away on May 30, 2026, at the age of 78. Melba will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ward Dean and Jewell Dean; her husband Jack Wright; her son Paul Douglas Wright; her grandson Jake Douglas Wright; and her brother Wendal Dean.
She is survived by: her sister Oralee Landon; her grandchildren, Megahn Wright, Madison Wright (Jared Rawls), Gage Wright and Zackery Wright; her great grandchildren, Noah Tyson, Nathan Tyson, Neil Tyson, Makaela Tyson and Musyc Wright; her daughters-in-law, Michelle Magnuson and Marilyn Wright; her nephew Ronnie Landon (Elaine); and her niece Betty Carter (Grady).
