It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Otis Hancock of Jacksonville, Florida, born in Zephyrhills, Florida, who passed away on May 12, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Hancock and Bessie Mae Hancock; his brothers, James Hancock and John Hancock; and his sister-in-law Linda Hancock.
He is survived by: his sons, Joe Hancock (Alexandra) and Eddie Hancock; his brother Robert Hancock; his grandchildren, Masyn Hancock, Emma Grace Hancock and Justin Williams; and his great grandchild Stevie Mae. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Peeples (14165 N Main St building c, Jacksonville, FL 32218). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Hughes Cemetery.
