He was predeceased by: his parents, Pat Dowdy and Lillie Mae Butterworth Dowdy. He is survived by: his wife Claire Dowdy; his children, Patti, Mike Delette, Jeff and Teresa Dowdy; his grandchildren, Michele McDonald (Scott), Miranda Bovinette (James), Joel Dowdy and Jade Harris (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Blake Harris, Sadie Harris and Marlee McDonald.
