He was predeceased by: his mother Carolyn Little; and his sister Tonya Simmons. He is survived by: his close friend Karen Clark; his father John H. Griffin Sr.; his stepmother Alma Griffin; and his siblings, Deannia McCanley (Ernest), Julius Griffin, Sonya Wade, John H. Griffin Jr. (Kiosha) and Carol Griffin. He is also survived by uncle and leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, along with many extended family members, dear friends.
