He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Sr. Breslin and June Breslin (Hill); and his wife Janis Breslin. He is survived by: his daughter Shannon Depiesse (Missy Durante) of Charleston, SC; his sister Beverly; his brother-in-law Verlyn Ruger; his nieces and nephews, Claralyn and Daniel Ruger; and his great-niece Rhianna Ruger.
