He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Aaron McDowell and Annie Lee Miller McDowell; his daughter Heather Lyn; and his brother Aaron McDowell. He is survived by: his children, Jody Wayne McDowell (April), Edward Duane McDowell (Renee) and Dyana Hartley (James); and his sisters, Patricia Howard and Vivian Douglas (Johnny). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and many friends.
