We announce the death of Robert Winkle Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 74. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elanda Winkle and Robert "Bob" Winkle; and his grandson Daniel "Trey" Heath III. He is survived by: his siblings, James Winkle (Paula) and Elyce Sefert; his wife Jill; his daughters, Shannon McClimans (James), Brandi Heath (Daniel), Rachel Birri (Kevin) and Stephanie VanSickle (Ryan); and his stepson Steven Tyler. He is also survived by other 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and an amazing extended family.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Community Baptist Church of Yulee (85326 Winona Bayview Rd #4097, Yulee, FL 32097).
