He was predeceased by: his father James Shoup. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his pets, Maru and Kiki; his mother Michelle Gagner Shoup (Richard McClellan); his siblings, Sean Conner and Amy Sylvester; his nephew Darius; his in-laws, Tao Li, Diane Li, Kenneth Li and Darrell Li (Kim); and also Bea. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Integrity Funeral Home & Cremations (1662 Stockton St, Jacksonville, FL 32204).
In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Rodney's deep love for cats and music, the family invites you to make a donation to your local animal rescue or to the Riverside Arts Market.
