He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil R. Long and Hilda E. Long; and his son Jerome William Long. He is survived by: his wife Carol Marie Long; and his daughters, Vivian Lynn Neroni (Tony), Valerie Elaine Woodhall, Tula Irene Long (James) and Vanessa Nadine Nelson. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
