He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty Shaddix Lewis of Moultrie, GA; his sister Bonnie Berinda Lewis Taylor of Atlanta, GA; his children, Dale Lewis of Jacksonville, Bruce Lewis of Savannah and Monica; and his parents, Rufus Lewis, Sr. and Mary Louise Sommers Lewis. He was also cherished by 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Instead of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
