It is with sadness that the passing of Sandi Jean Braithwaite of Jacksonville, Florida is shared. Sandi, born on November 5, 1971 in Crestline, Ohio, passed away on August 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Sandi will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Sandi by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Sandi is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Sandi’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Jack and Dora Hignite (Mansfield Ohio); her father David E. Schnittke; and her nephew Cody McBryde of Jacksonville Florida. She is survived by: her mother Christina R. Schnittke; her children, Lacie Burley, Brooke Braithwaite (Cody Etze) and Grady Braithwaite; and her grandchildren, Brantton Braithwaite, Sophie Whitehead and Jetter Thompson.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Moose Lodge (3834 Southside Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32216).
