With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara Ann McCarty in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on July 4, 2025 at the age of 62. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sara Ann McCarty to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her father Rev. Barnum McCarty; and her significant other Elizabeth Wilson. She is survived by: her mother Betty Ann Roberts McCarty; her sisters, Clara Elizabeth Pulignano (Nicholas Vincent) and Mary Shannon Graham (James Cole); her siblings' children, Claire Elizabeth Pulignano, Nicholas Vincent Pulignano III (Kelly), Helen Laine Gandy (Coleman), Elizabeth Ann Gilrain (Sean) and James Cole Graham Jr. Sara; and her pets, Cici and Buster.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mark's Episcopal Church (4129 Oxford Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32210).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Mark's Rector's Discretionary Fund or to Camp Weed and Cerveny Conference Center, causes close to Sara's heart.
