She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert J. Thaxton and Helen Irene Cummings Thaxton; and her son Shawn Ruby. She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Ruby; and her brother Larry Thaxton (Tricia).
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the North Jacksonville Baptist Church (8531 N Main St, Jacksonville, FL 32218).
