The memory of Shirley Ard of Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on May 18, 2026 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Stokes and Harry Stokes Sr.; her brother Larry Stokes; her daughter-in-law Gayle Giles; and her brother-in-law Jim Rackley (late J. L. Giles).
She is survived by: her husband Isaac Boyd Ard; her children, Rhonda Giles Griffin (Howard), Jimmy Giles (Joan) and Gary Ard (Sherri); and her siblings, Harry Stokes (Dana) and Lynnette Rackley. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
