She is survived by: her children, Chandra Borden (Taveras), Latonya Harris (Albert) and Nathaniel Borden Sr. (Shajuanita); her adoptive sons, Ernest Borden III (Sandra) and Marlan Borden; her son Ernest Borden, Jr.; her grandchildren, Jamal, Tyresha, Albert III, Nathaniel Jr., Na'Tae, Na'Shanti, Marquis (Anara), Ta'Nae, Ta'Nashia, Na'Tasia, Ca'Cyria, Tagqee, Devin, Hakeem, Ziyohnna, Carl, Carlaya, Camarrie, Danaysia, Damien, Dream and Wandy; her great grandchildren, Layla, Jah'ir, Makayla, Zachariah, Rovena, Jah'mir, Haven, Hakeem Jr. and Kehlani; and her siblings, Raymond McNair, Lonnie McNair (Denise), Ulysses Sheffield, Janice Sheffield, Malinda Perry Retha Wright (James), Jaqueline McNeal, Gloria Spencer and Dwayne Jones (Latoya). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Northside Chapel of Sarah L. Carter (6665 New Kings Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32219). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Church (1410 Edgewood Ave W, Jacksonville, FL 32208). A burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the Evergreen Cemetery (4535 N Main St, Jacksonville, FL 32206).
