Suad Hanna Akel Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on November 19, 2025, Suad Hanna Akel (Jacksonville, Florida) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Suad farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Suad is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Abraham Mansour Rayyan and Hannah Mobarak; her husband Hanna Salem Akel; and her children, Abla Akel, Mansur Akel, Janette Salameh, Mary Abboud and Sylvia Vanderels.
