She is survived by: her former husband Major Allen Burnette; her daughters, Jennifer Burnette and Monica Keister (Brian Keister); her grandchildren, Leora and Prescott Keister; her husband Dr. George McMurray; her sisters, Aprylle and Charmaine Sturdivant; and her brother-in-law Sam Wiggins. She is also survived by family members and friends.
