He is survived by: his mother Loretta Sumlar; his children, Courtney Shatara Sumlar and Terry James Sumlar, Jr. (Prisanna); his aunts and uncles, Arthur Sumlar (Verna) of Jacksonville, FL, Joanne Parker of Philadelphia, PA and Earldine Sumlar of Jacksonville, FL.; his cousins, Sharon Sumlar Johnson and Terri White; and his friends, Horace "Junior" Edwards (Angela), Ronnie "Punkin" Sapp and Michael Williams. He is also survived by his three grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the C. L. Page Mortuary (3031 Moncrief Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32208). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
